About Amari & Locallo
After serving as General Counsel for Cook County Assessor Thomas C. Hynes from 1983 to 1987, Leonard Amari teamed up with Joseph Locallo, Jr. to found the law firm of Amari & Locallo. Joseph had been serving as Chief of Revenue Litigation, Northern Division, at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. The pair quickly grew their client base and expanded Amari & Locallo’s real estate tax assessment practice in Cook County, the surrounding collar counties, and ultimately across the United States.
Over the past 25 years Amari & Locallo has become one of the most successful and respected law firms in the real estate tax assessment field.
